Alexandria Rowland is the owner of Texture Creative Studio. She had a vision of creating a place where being a creative in Nashville could be possible at an affordable price. Previously, this meant styling the space as a photography studio, but after some soul searching she changed the space to it’s new format in January 2024.

She has always known that she wanted to be a designer. Discovering pottery in 2022 was her chance to make that dream a reality. To her ceramics are the perfect medium because it is the intersection of form & function.

The Vaquera Ceramics aesthetic is inspired by Art Nouveau and Japanese Ceramics. It is an exploration of contrast with the use of mostly black and white clay bodies and glaze, and nature with many natural shapes and carvings.
